3. Talk about illiterate!
If they knew anything about what we now know goes on when one learns a language, they'd know kids' accents are established firmly before one ever gets into a classroom.... and they learned it from their peers.... which is why children born of immigrants take on the accent of their new country, not their parents'.

4. This is pure BS!
I wonder if this idiot can speak two languages? I know the teachers he is after can!

And if he is so concerned with teachers who teach english being able to teach kids proper english then I wonder if he will see to it that history teachers are teaching proper history and even more important if science teachers are teaching real science...Or will AZ just adopt Texas school books?

that being said.... i told him to buck up, find a way to deal with it and get a good grade.

many of the computer classes are being taught by people with accents and has been a challenge.

reality...

that being said, i see it no different from getting an ass for a teacher, that makes the class particularly hard and am not suggesting going after teachers like they are doing in az

6. If you are going to learn Spanish well,
You need to hear all the different accents it comes in, too. Be glad the teacher is not a border Mexican, or the poor kid's Spanish will be like a drunken sailor.
