This is why Glee matters. You never see this kind of thing on other shows.

It's a great show, and that was a great moment. Brilliantly written and acted.

14. I disagree. An adult gains no credibility or respect by destroying

one young person in order to strengthen another young person. The adult could have given his message in a more instructive way than he did, imo. GLEE, to me, is not a great show. And I abhor the way the show steals songs and rewrites them. That is why there is a ban movement against it underway. But, then, to each his/her own.

5. this was the first episode i have ever watched of this show. someone had

remarked about a version of a lady gaga song on it so i watched to see what they were talking about. and i was floored by how they showed these glee club members were being harrassed by the football team members. and i saw this scene and was amazed!! a discussion about using fag as a pejorative word. now i think i'm going to have to watch season 1 and this season.

11. Love that show. That episode got my daughter's friends talking...

and that scene especially spurred great conversations about the whole subject. Quite a few gay kids chimed in about how grateful they were for that scene....powerful, powerful stuff.

I'm a huge fan.
