Summary: MSNBC's Dylan Ratigan filled in for Cenk Thursday (Cenk is in Amsterdam). In this video he starts off with a clip of president Obama discussing the oil spill. Then Ratigan talks about how too often government works with corporations and special interests.

1. Dylan was pretty good.
Though I bet he found out that "new media" ain't as easy as Cenk makes it look. :D

4. that Dylan "subs down" (from cable to podcast) shows his commitment to the ideas/news/issues
he is the real deal. considering what happened to Shuster, one has to imagine that Ratigan is risking political/career capital by reaching out to TYT. even if there's a couple of execs who applaud the street cred, it's got to be problematic for some in the organization.

5. I agree but...
there is also the Old Media Vs. New Media shift which he discussed later on the show. It's not just about 'street cred'.

11. I would never have heard of Ratigan if it wasn't for TYT
but I guess that could be because I've been living in another country since 2005.

12. Ratigian Is A Person I Try To Watch Almost Every Day At 4:00 PM On MSNBC!
I've been attacked several times here for defending him, but I'm thinking that those doing the attacking haven't really watched him all that much!

He has helped me GREATLY by explaining in somewhat simple terms what BIG BANKS, CORPORATIONS, BIG OIL and BIG THINGS of this sort are doing to RUIN this country!

I am one of his biggest fans here I guess. Can't say I know his political preference, perhaps just an Indy, but he sure doesn't seem to be a "prop" spewing more lies about what is going on!

He does "rant" at times, but MORE POWER TO HIM! Seems at times that he's almost the only one shining one of the BRIGHTEST lights on some really, really BAD people and what they are trying to do to bring this country down!

THANK YOU DYLAN & CENK! Also, he has Eliot Spitzer on his show a LOT, and many other very informative people who help support him is his efforts. Sure, he has RW'er's and has agreed with "some" things they may have to say, but it's the same with "some" Dems who only are more interested in issues to the RIGHT of Center!

I watched him when he had his 9:00 AM show earlier this year, and now don't tune in to MSM for the most part until he comes on at 4:00 PM each day!

I would rather have him on my side than not! Thanks for posting... he needs more of this attention! Anyone who disagrees, fine... but I'm NOT going to jump into the fray with you... my points made here are quite clear and I've been watching this guy since I discovered him earlier this year!

JMHO!!
