1. Hey, I recommended this but I'd like to hear him talk about the HUGE body of...
...oil which has been pushed down from the surface by dispersants and which (according to what I've read) is hovering at a certain point (or range) in the water column and which is moving around, unseen- at least until we had those great reports from Cousteau and others.

Because I don't think that stuff is going to come ashore. I think the way the dispersants have affixed themselves to the oil goo, there may now be a more difficult problem in actually recovering/cleaning it up.

2. Fuck Him "Obama to Open Offshore Areas to Oil Drilling for First Time"
"WASHINGTON — The Obama administration is proposing to open vast expanses of water along the Atlantic coastline, the eastern Gulf of Mexico and the north coast of Alaska to oil and natural gas drilling, much of it for the first time, officials said Tuesday."

Amnesia?

5. Yes, but there is a reason that people are against offshore drilling....
a reason that many have been against it all along, and this spill is it. It is a predictable outcome of offshore drilling combined with laissez-faire corporatism.

Obama should not be bowing to oil companies, and the date of that publication does not forgive him for choosing them over us.
