President Obama may not be able to say what he really things about the disaster in the Gulf of Mexico, but that won't stop him from singing about what he thinks of British Petroleum, George W. Bush and Dick Cheney.

There's a hole in the bottom of the Sea (I didn't drill it)
No that hole was put there by BP
It's a hole, an oil leaking hole
There's a hole in the bottom of the sea.

There's a problem with that hole in the bottom of the sea.
Though the oil spill nightmare buck stops with me
Should be clear, and plain to see
That the Culprits here are Bush/Cheney.

Lots of oil leaking at the bottom of the sea
And its killing the fish and shrimp hatcheries

And its ruining the Gulf Ecology.

And its what you'd call a huge catastrophe
We're all to blame, we're all the same
Hooked on cheap polluting gasoline

There's a hole wasting tons of oil energy
Putting money in the hands of our enemies
Ahmadinejad in Iran
Loves that BP Hole in the bottom of the sea.

Well BP ruined the Gulf Economy
Messed up our nation's recovery
And if I could, I'd stick BP
Right in the hole in the bottom of the sea

we could somehow forget that BP gave so much money to obama and he expanded offshore drilling just weeks before this catastrophe.
And if he weren't caught on camera numerous times claiming that oil rigs don't cause spills and feeding us that republican propaganda.
No amount of talk he can do will change those facts. He needs to stop talking and start pushing us toward real alternatives to dirty/dangerous energy. We have to hold him accountable and MAKE him steer washington toward clean energy.
Maybe this will be the wake-up call he needs. I hope with all my heart that no more damage has to be done to this earth and its innocent wildlife/sealife for our leaders to realize what many of us have been preaching for years.

This whole thing reminds me of an old song from a heavy metal band named "Nuclear Assault" called Critical mass.
I suggest we all listen to this song and fight fight fight! Long Live Environmental METAL!!!1

Lots to be disappointed in these days -- not the least of which is the generations of stupidity that lead to all these oil platforms with no way to shut them down in an emergency.
