3. I know that was a joke... :)
Hugh Laurie...when I saw him as House I could not believe how perfect his accent was. I have seen him in this, Jeeves & Wooster, Whose Line, Fry & Laurie...but House is a masterpiece of his abilities.

2. One of my favorite shows of all time...
This one is for the ages, though. No matter what the times, those who wage war sit idly by while the blood of the common man is spilled on the battlefield to serve God knows what purpose. It should be law that those who declare war must send their own flesh and blood into harm's way first.

6. In Flanders Fields
The ending always reminds me of this poem.

In Flanders Fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

By: Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae, MD (1872-1918)
Canadian Army

7. WWI
"War is the merciless slaughter of fellow human beings." Harry Patch WWI Vet survivor of Passchendale and the last man who fought in the trenches. (1898-2009)

I wondered if this is suppose to be the First Day of the Somme or Passchendale
