"Sure, he has no foreign or national policy experience, and both his personal life and political career are riddled with scandal," said Hammond. "But in the key area of having been on TV on 9/11, the other candidates simply cannot match him. And as we saw in 2004, that's what matters most to voters in this post-9/11 world."

2. It's astounding and enlightening. |

Clearly, there are a lot of people who have no idea whatsoever who and what Guiliani is beyond what they saw on TV in September 2001 and maybe at a fundraiser. It's the idea of Guiliani that they approve of, not the reality. (As an aside - if Pataki had gotten to NYC early that morning or if Bush had shown his face, there would be no Guiliani).
The message here is that we have to breach this wall of ignorance to expose the Republicans for what they are and \show the reality of the Democratic candidates in place of the false images created by the Republicans and MSM.

3. Rats Fleeing the Sinking Ship. |

Rats. Do you hear me? RATS they are. Scum of scum. Undermining worker saftey, turning coal mine safety into a corrupt racket and a joke. How the fuck do these scumbags get and keep power?!?! How? It takes dead bodies for people to wake up and see the writing on the wall?!!? Look at the history of big business republicanism, look how every time they shit on the working people, going all the way back to the Triangle Waist Company fire in New York City that started all of worker safety regulations in America. Republicans want to rub you into the dirt to squeeze profit from you. That is it. That is all you need to know about them. Behind all of the illusionary 'values' and 'security' propaganda, all there really is and really ever was in the modern republican party is the core value of profit. Profiteering as a politician, profiteering as a businessman, and most completely, profiteering at the nexus between politics and business. A profit racket. That sums up the modern republican party. Period.
A. Profit. Racket. This is their brand, and this is the brand that we should never let them escape from being judged by. Period.
