That such a sleazy hack gets so much attention.

Her writings are unreadable, most wingnut radio hosts are more articulate than she is, her sociopath act has been tired for years, she's unhealthy looking in the extreme, and even true believers get the creeps in her presence.

And yet she's a leading figure in America's political discourse. (I guess.)

When the culture gets that degraded, is there any hope at all?
