15. regan's beneath contempt |
|
not ron hisself (his son's one of ours) but his supporters, or those who claim him. when ronald reagan became usa prez on jan 21/81 the usa as a democracy was fatally injured-it's inconceievable that the 'gov' of california during the day o rage etc (hippie era) who so totally id'd with cops and jail and racism/oppression etc, could suddenly become 'anti washington' and cheered by the likes of chris tweety mathews and pjororke and the rolling stone (while gonzo journo hunter thompson was marginalized) and even neil young/randi rhodes and FAR TOO MANY personal friends who suddenly 'liked' regan- 'fukkit' was all anyone could say....too many DU'ers are just recently noticing the BIG LIE approach that has been intrinsic to the reagan's career post hollywood, and noone was more 'hollywood' then ronald reagan, the epitome of cardboard cutout movie star- he starred in a show called 'bedtime fer bonzo' ferchriss%^&**$##$%^&&** etc! how a sophisticated, cynical culture, whose heroes included jesses james and the 'swamp fox' and made movies like 'high noon' could SUDDENLY cross a rubicon while hohumming....i suspect it never happened, carter was re elected in 1980 despite the 'october surprise' and blah blah yada yada....thus regan remains beneath contempt, and when the social order understands it, if it ever admits it does; what it means, it'll wake up to a grim unalterable reality (something the rightwing gopigs never wanted either, btw, unless they truly insane as is gibbering half wit insane(?)) does anyone remember how 'cool' the fonz was? has anyone ever suggested being a brute just isn't cool? oh yeah..that's pc

4. But I have nothing to hide |
|
so why should I care if Alberto Gonzo is snooping into my personal business. What's that you say? They're going to measure everyone's penis and post photographs of the results on youtube? Those phone calls to my mistress will be made public, and the ones to NAMBLA too? But shouldn't they be putting the focus where it belongs, on stained blue dresses and the clenis? Back to the video: great work. Send it to all Republican Kool Aid guzzlers. Off topic, but what the hell: I'm at a peace vigil when some guy stopped at the traffic light says "The surge is working." To which I replied, "so does Ex-Lax, you should try some."

7. Yes wake up Murka....screaming the house is on fire at our collective brain |
|
Edited on Fri Aug-24-07 11:12 AM by ooglymoogly
weighted heavily with ignorance and downright stupidity and is now in a vegetative state....things it just won't hear....except that tiny area of that collective brain that is screaming out for its very survival before it is burned to a crisp. Great video...kr

10. FANTASTIC VIDEO!!! And, the kind you can watch more than once --- |
|
Meanwhile . . . A Republican is telling us that if Bush/Cheney aren't impeached we could find ourselves in a year in Iran and with most of our freedoms curtailed.
Where are the Democrats telling us that -- ? Do they just find it impossible to forsee such a thing? I doubt it --
The answer must lie elsewhere.
In fact, as our "free speech" is reduced to political "free speech zones" . . . where are Democrats speaking out against this? Where are Democrats restoring our free speech rights and the right to congregate -- ???? That's been almost totally lost --
In defense of Democrats, I will say that the opposition is so vicious that they probably have to give considerable thought to how the GOP may retailiate if they do go after them.

14. And Now The DC Dems Are "Part Of The Problem" |
|
When they took over the majority in January they became "The US Government."
Under our treaty obligations and war crimes law failing to deal with even suspected war criminals is simply not tolerated.
There is a duty to take action.
Failure to impeach is complicity -- approval -- exoneration for the regime.
