How are those repayments going? Also, are the costs related to managing of TARP added to the loan repayments?

Christian Weller was just making stuff up.
Lending never recovered. TARP was just a tiny portion of the FIRE bailouts. We are in worse shape now, imo. We might as well have put the 12+ trillion in a big pile and burned it.

If the point was to "stabilize" the economy, it's certainly less than clear. If the point was to make it possible for financial institutions to lend, it worked, but it failed to incentivize them to do so.
If, like me, you believe the purpose of TARP was to drain all the money out of the economy and put it in the hands of the rich, then yeah, it was a big step in the right direction.
