3. Good Job For The Young Enthusiastic Journalist And Satarist |
|
This young man is great and very promising. He will be in the Who's Who In America soon enough. Sarah Palin the Alaskan Idiot from the Idid-a-rod on a Snowmobile will be fodder for satire and comedy for a decade or more!

Although I fear for the state of our great nation if I become "Who's Who."

5. Love this guy + my take on the Palin's 1:50 minute video |
|
It's only 1:50 minutes, but it beautifully captures Sarah Palin's Three Default Modes of interaction when confronted with reality.
#1 The "snarkybabble-smile-wink-distract-deflect" approach.
When this strategy wasn't having the intended effect (get the calm rational protester to shut up about the real issues), she went on to:
#2 Roll out the Non-snarky Talking Points. When this was an immediate fail, she quickly jumped to:
#3 Turn on the Childish Charm so they'll at least like me. Sadly, that's all there is, folks. Underneath the sheer fakery of SP's carefully manufactured "christian-mama-grizzly-family-values-everywoman-political-leader" persona, that's it.
What we are so graphically shown here is exactly why SP's promoters have to keep her public appearances controlled with planned speeches and prescripted question/answer sessions.
Note: Sara Palin has by no means created this charade all by herself. She has plenty of help from those who stand to benefit greatly from keeping this facade alive.

6. Thanks, and great breakdown, truthrocks |

I find this incident particularly funny, because it's one of the few candid SP moments that I think really could've gone well for her IF she did talk about her family in education. She can rip the "lamestream media" all she wants for reading into everything, but that's what happens when you're a national figure!
If she would've suddenly become elated at Gustafson's mentioning of being a teacher and shared her family's history with teaching, like she took the time to do on facebook (presumably after a PR rep had their say), she would've looked human and as if she were finally looking at people past their political affiliation.
Instead, she did become awkwardly silent at the mentioning of teaching.
I don't know about you, but if someone I'm talking to mention's something I'm passionate about, I start talking about it! I don't wait for them to talk about something else.
But whatever. I look forward to being labeled part of the lamestream media, because of my opinion.
