3. He is absolutely correct, Democrats should focus on defending Social Security

and ripping to shreds anybody attempting to cut or privatize it will be the winning issue for 2010+

4. As Rachel Maddow pointed out, the ad was released on a Friday heading into the weekend.

This way the ad gets lost in the "weekend data dump."

It sure looks as if the ad, which is only a web ad, is only to pacify and shut up the liberal base while the White House continues to cave to the GOP.

Once again, the Democrats are shooting with blanks.

This ad will never be seen by Middle Americans. It won't be played on sports games in bars in the Midwest. The only people who will see it are net-savvy progressives. In fact, I still haven't found it on the net. They're doing a helluva job of hiding this from the general public.

The real message of the ad:

Shut up the base while we continue to move right for the general election.

It says, "On this anniversary..." After this weekend the ad can't even be used.

This party is the biggest bunch of wimps in American history.

Never in the history of the Democratic party have we seen such a bunch of flat footed wimps shooting with blanks at every turn.

Just like President Obama saying we should drill offshore shortly before the "oil slick" began. Things like this take away our moral standing on these important issues. If these people would act like liberals and stand for our principles and values, the Republican party would have self-destructed long ago.
