We should not be messing with Nature. All of our WMDs are no match for the power of Nature. As George Carlin once said, the Planet will be fine, but it might one day just shake all of us off as if we were nothing more than annoying bugs. Or something like that.

6. The history of life on earth
has been punctuated by major and minor extinction events. The most notable of these being the Permian and Cretaceous catastrophes. This will happen again and next time the human species might be the victim, if we are fortunate enough to even exist long enough as a species to be a victim of such an event.

5. Looks like parts of West Virginia coal mining country
They have horrible floods there thanks to the coal companies filling in creeks, stripping trees, etc..
