Indeed, if we can entrust our youth with driving, and being tried as adults, then surely they should have the right to vote.
But my first reaction was, Oh No, I don't want those kids newly emerged from Jesus Camp to vote just yet. Unless we can turn them around to the real Jesus and his liberation theology.
Thanks for the many interesting discussions on your show.
And I've treasured those special times on the Mike Malloy show, in which callers must be 17 or younger. They have made many poignant comments about our times, our future and our politics. I wouldn't mind if those kids voted.
