3. I don't think his audience got his last comment
about how Americans have a fascination with shiny objects. Heh he.

13. It reminded me of the perfect green lawns full of toxic chemicals-while children
and beloved pets frolic in the cancerous grass.

6. He's the best! Glad he's back. I've waited for a looooong time. It's the only reason...
I have HBO.

Smart, funny guy. A close cousin to Jon Stewart and Colbert. Al Franken is in a class of his own.

When it comes to smart, funny talent...it just irks the Republicans that they can't compete.

7. In the Stewart/Colbert cabinet, can Bill Maher by Sec of State?
This was so funny and dead on I had to make my husband sit down to watch it.

He's the Dennis Miller of the 21st Century in my opinion! Rock on, my man!

9. Transcript?
I'm sick of my mother trying to justify Wal*Mart's business practices. I'm thinking about confronting her on it...probably not a good idea, but WTF, I can dream.

18. walmart
Confront her it is not just third world countries Wal-mart exploits, it is all of us if we let them. Wal-mart has to be forced to do the right thing. They didn't pull the tainted dog food (even tho they knew about it) until they were forced. They don't care about their customers or their employees only their bottom line. Tell her to check out Wal-mart Hall of Shame, she might re-think about the pennies she is saving by shopping there.

22. Sorry, but she won't.
She bluntly told me that she only cares about herself and how much money she saves. She has told me that she will never change her mind on a number of issues. Bringing them up only causes arguments. That's why it's a waste of time to talk to her about anything.
