1. as much as I hate Boehner, the Dems shouldn't fight with the term 'backroom deals' after HCR deals

Dems in Congress have no legs to stand on in that particular issue - they have no room to argue that point - stick to his lack of vision/solutions and obstructionist ways. 'Backroom deals' only remind me of the deals struck during health care reform which is not the best light reflected on our Party

2. yes they should
because if both sides stay away from the issue because both sides are guilty, then there's never any pressure to clean them up. Somebody has to go out and embarrass somebody else on this, and it'll lead in the long run to both parties being cleaner.
