even a beleaguered middle class. but once the middle class is all but gone, and people need to feed their families, then that is when you see revolutions happen. when all the wealth is concentrated in a small group of people and everyone else can't even feed their kids then you will see people marching.

6. this is great. i tried to explain that to someone on facebook that insisted that

you could just go on down to mcdonalds and get a job. they have applications there! so of course that means they are hiring and it'd be easy for you to get a job there. but the fact is, as i explained to this guy, that if they had hundred show up to apply for like 15 or 20 seasonal jobs at the baseball stadium last year, then i would bet that mcdonalds isn't going to be an easy job to get either. this says it quite succinctly.

He lives in Massachusetts, so I'm certain he wasn't authorized to post a job at McDonalds in Nevada.

So he created false hope for 394 people, wasted their current and future time (as they try to follow up) and all so he could make an already obvious point in a YouTube video?

This guy got famous because he acted like a typical, disrespectful, snobbish college ignoramus and now his name is mud in his chosen field. Great guy to idolize.

Beck kept saying McDonalds so how else can we prove McDonald's isn't hiring?

When you don't have any real journalists left you have to do it yourself.

Why is anyone paying attention to Glenn Beck at all?

Ignore him.

So what if the ignorant masses listen to him and think he's a genius and he's just tellin them lazy bums to go get a job.

Talking about him, complaining about him, protesting him; all of it just gives him power.

Albeit a trifle repetitively. Which is not necessarily a bad thing; the point needs to be driven home as there are still way too many people who are accepting Beck's lunacy as gospel, and that in spite of their own best interests.
