3. Nice Job, Thom. Gilroy's argument has more holes than walls of a shooting gallery.

They try to point out that private prisons are "more efficient." Sure, when you can pick and choose who you house and avoid high-cost criminals like death row inmates and cap medical care benefits.

This is like the argument that private schools are inherently superior to public schools and using test scores for them to make their case. Private schools can choose who they admit. Public schools have to take anyone in their district regardless if the child comes from a dysfunctional family, dangerous home environment, has cognitive impairments, etc.

4. Thom Hartmann is the best. I like the way he discusses things
in a civil manner with people with whom he disagrees. I like hearing both sides of an issue. Somehow "reason," in my view is always on Thom Hartmann's side. Funny how that works, isn't it? Thom Hartmann is just brilliant. He puts all the other talk show hosts combined to shame.
