Evan Kohlmann, American terrorism consultant who has worked for the FBI and other agencies, is right. Again, the wingers are helping recruit terrorists.

The Teabaggers and their ilk are stupid and dangerous beyond belief. If you didn't know better, you'd think they were in cahoots with the Taliban.

Go build it. An interdenominational building in which Muslims can play basketball with other Muslims and swim with other Muslims and 2000 can gather on Fridays for prayer. (I'm going by the WaPo article and the Cordoba House website info.) Except that, while Muslims and every other religion works in the area, there is no community of Muslims that LIVES in the area. (Unless they're millionaires. Even millionaire Muslims need a mosque.)

Naturally, everyone in the area is just waiting for the gym and the cooking school. Nobody downtown actually cooks and there are tons of gyms in the neighborhood.

These guys are also fund-raising for a Harlem mosque that also doesn't seem to have broken ground yet.

I don't mind taking Saudi oil money and spending it on American construction workers. Let's see if this money pit can equal some of our Iraq projects.
