7. I've watched this so many times in the corp. world. I've been through layoffs and corp. failures, &
every time it was the loud mouths that bullied their way around to make sure they got every penny from the corp. and gov., the same ones who had previously loud mouthed about how they needed nothing, they were so F'en great, needed nothing from the gov., etc. exactly the same tired RW SH**.

People like this don't need a country, they should just go off on a deserted island and forge their way. I have absolutely no difficulty wishing these people get their share of misery in life, SH** happens in life and I have no difficulty hoping they get theirs first. They are trying to force their warped view of life on others they will never even know.

3. So, according to the "dude," I stand up, clean the streets and every two weeks I get $1,800?
Really?

Who's going to pay me, "dude?"

I wonder what this guy does for a living. I wonder how he can be so sure that he'll always have a job to "raise his son."

6. i am wondering how all these hundreds of thousands who attended this rally
could afford to take off of work and afford to drive or fly to washington for this. how many of the teapartiers are on social security or some pension? how many are unemployed and on unemployment? (i would believe it). how many have jobs and took vacation time to go? i know it was held on the weekend, but if they came from all over the country then they had to have taken at least one day off of work if they have a job.

I am sick and tired of this shit, we have to put up a fight before these miscreants do us all in.

8. Somebody's a little insecure about his manly manhood
and his fatherly fatherhood.

OK, dude, what happens when all of that money I've been saving is stolen by wall street in one of their "oopsy" moments? Should I just die in that case?

11. Oh no Wall st is an investment not a gambling venture don'tchaknow?
Love how after the near collapse of Wall st these types are still touting that they can invest in Wall st and come out winners. They are like the lotto nit wits who spend $600 or more a month on lotto get a $25 win and claim they are ahead by $25 when the fact is they are really $575 in the hole. They are missing the reality gene as well as having ego's beyond belief, yet when life turns against them some minority took their job or the EPA closed their business or those lazy union workers caused their work place to close the doors and move to the third world, somehow nothing is their fault, it's a vast conspiracy leveled against only them.

15. The irony is...
We privatize Social Security by turning it over to Wall Street, then Wall Street crumbles...again...and the tax payer is tapped...again.

So in essence, the tax payer funds Social Security...again.

Just leave the system alone and stop trying to create and subsidize a parasitic middleman...

20. How naive these people are.
This poor fellow who has saved money for his son. Who is protecting the money he has saved? Doesn't he realize that in fact he has entrusted his money to the most lawless gang in our country -- the banks and investment sector?

Many of these people are very simpleminded. They think that if they put a dollar in the bank, the dollar is "saved." They don't realize that the only thing that insures that their dollar will be there when they go to get it is the depositor's insurance that the US government provides. If it weren't for that insurance, the banks would have gobbled our money long ago -- woops! they did. I forgot. That's why we had to have bail-outs -- to prevent the banks from closing their doors. Do you remember that some of the banks actually did close their doors in 2008-2009?

This poor fellow. He is going to learn some very painful lessons about money and economics.
