4. I couldn't listen past the first minute |
|
McBitter's and Insannity's immediate complaints of contrived slights to Bush were more than enough to reveal that the ensuing minutes were just going to be an Obama-bashing fest.

Obama was way too kind to the man who lied to start that unneeded war and has tried to be gracious to John McCain too but only to have McCain all but spit in his face.

7. What would be enough for these clowns? |
|
Edited on Wed Sep-01-10 08:27 PM by WhoIsNumberNone
Should Obama go on TV and name Sarah Palin as his successor before drowning himself in the toilet? Should he start every speech by thanking Lincoln for freeing his people, and Reagan for single-handedly defeating communism? Would that satisfy these turds?
When did Bush EVER give ANY credit to Clinton for ANYTHING- Let alone in a prime time address to the nation? Did St. Ron ever say anything nice about Carter?

8. Why is this Fox News clap trap even relevant anymore? |
|
They've openly come out of the Conservative/Republican/Tea Party closet. This isn't news, and hasn't been for years now. John McCain, like most other aging, Senatorial ideologues and former presidential candidates, (who mostly seem to be on the far right these days), need to keep their pathetic jobs that serve not interests for the people who voted them in, but only those special interests who give them lots of money. It's no mystery why Fox News gets such high ratings. Mostly those in the lowest common denominator bracket need to have these pathetic propagandist lunatics tell them what to think, as they are incapable of thinking for themselves. We see it more everyday. Just look at all the idiots to showed up at Beck's religious sermon last Saturday. As Beck said in his own words, anyone who takes him seriously is an idiot. Therefore, based on his own definition, there were THOUSANDS of idiots who showed up at his "White Power taking back the Civil Rights movement" orgy.

... the GOP will never ever ever give him a break, never.
Why the fuck did he even kiss W's ass last nite, when the GOP was not going to return the favor? I am not asking for Obama to trash Bush yesterday, but he simply could have just omitted Bush in a "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" fashion... and be done with it. The GOP was gonna freak out and trash his speech no matter what. I just don't understand this conciliatory approach by the DLC to a pack of wolves anymore...

having just watch Keith with Jeremy Scahill it's obvious John is having a temper tantrum that Obama didn't mentioned his name in place of the shrub's. He didn't get credit for the surge. Psst..John, the surge didn't work..it was the bribes to the sunnis that shifted their insurgency. Oh and the fundementals of the economy are not strong either.
Sad little man

14. He should have said... |
|
...'No one can question Bush's decision to persue this war was the wrong choice, and we shouldn't fight wars just because we can - but we will turn over Iraq to the Iraqi's as carefully as we were careless getting into this war.'
Or something like that. That would have been more fun to watch faux news cry about :)

Pres Obama was handed a mess that festered for years and has had to make difficult decisions under horrible circumstances thanks to Bush and his ilk.
