6. Keithie's the best.
When we were watching his rant on the TV machine, my husband said to me, "I don't ever want Keith mad at me." I think the world would work better, if everyone felt that way. *Behave at all times in such a way as to make Keith Olbermann proud.*

10. The Iraq invasion and occupation
will be a black mark on this country forever. Everyone reading this will be paying for the Bush cartel's immoral behavior for the rest of our lives.
Thanks George Bush for wrecking our country's reputation and lowering living standards for 98% of Americans and 100% of Iraqi's.
The lying scumbag and war criminal does not deserve our thanks. Big oil, big pharma, and defense contractors can thank him. The rest of the world is hurting because the Bush cartel wanted world domination.

16. I'm not sure it was big oil or big pharma
The war was the creation of the Military Industrial Complex and the Israel Lobby. The Christian Fundamentalists who wanted to convert Muslims also played a role. But the big oil lobby did not push for the war, they had too much to lose with the instability. The main winners were to be Israel and the military weapons and service providers (Blackwater, Halliburton Brown and Root). The Israeli hand is not discussed in the USA, because in the USA any discussion about Israel's role in directing US foreign policy is silenced. Thus the root cause of the war is kept from free and open discussion. In Europe, where our media is not muzzled as it is in the USA, these items can be discussed openly.

17. How does big oil
& Saudi Arabia not benefit from Iraq? When was the last time you were at the pump?

What was the price of oil the first time Bush the elder bombed Iraq?

You should look at the profits for big oil in 2000 compared to 2003.

however, MIC uses 80% of the oil, therefore, as we saw with BP/Obama,the Gulf

spill becomes more an issue of "national security" than environmental disaster!

CONTROL of the oil producing ME has obviously long been on the agenda for elites

who give us war and these imperialistic adventures. Nixon armed right wing

Fundamentalist Israeli hawks, thereby burying Israel's peace-loving left - and

giving US a foothold in ME. The killing of PM Rabin by the right wing cemented

the death of the liberal left.

9/11 and the wars on Afghanistan and Iraq served many elite interests --

from WTC/Silverman etal as a solution to the "white elephants" and asbestos problems

to MIC's need for war and more privatization and oil company's huge profits -- among

many other right wing benefits - Wall Street, destruction of SEC records -- etal.

Needless to say, we're not only talking oil here, we're talking control of drug-

producing areas -- Afghanistan/Heroin.

11. Scahill is a great reporter, tells it like it is. He's very intense.
Another good analogy I heard about giving Bush credit for the surge is that it's like giving an arsonist credit for trying to help put out his fire. Bush stirred up a hornets nest, unleashed demons from hell in Iraq. It never should have happened in the first place, but once it did, he didn't have much choice but to try to fix that which he had broken. These neocons make me sick. And now they have the audacity to criticize Obama for not showing enough gratitude to Bush. It's disgusting. Bush should be apologizing each and every day to Obama for leaving the country in such horrible shape at the end of his term.

13. "They should not be able to leave their houses..."
Amen to that!
Can there be any clearer sign to how totally screwed up this country is that these cretins - Hadley, Fleisher, Senor, etc. - are still able to function and even prosper in our society?
That we're even debating this issue is just plain crazy.
That Republicans are even running in elections as such is nuts!

They should not be able to leave their houses without facing widespread and vehement outrage for their behavior and their actions.

18. You can thank President Obama for allowing these bastards any shred of credibility.
Instead of prosecuting the entire pack of PNAC neo-cons who are absolutely guilty of taking our nation to war in their nitwit plan to democratize the Middle East so they could exploit there resources we hear him giving Bush praise. If Obama thinks that I am going to hobble around the neighborhood going door to door in 2012 if I am still kicking he is as delusional as the Teabaggers.

completely doubt the war had anything to do with "democratizing" Iraq --

agree with the rest --

but stay connected to liberal/progressive voting bloc and let's figure out

some way to ramrod our way thru this corporate hold over Democratic Party.

Who's left for Obama - ? Those who wanted MEDICARE FOR ALL - 76%+ of the nation?

Women who wanted protection for reproductive freedom and health care?

Seniors who are dependent upon Social Security checks which are worth about half

of what they were worth pre-Bush?

Maybe Union members? Teachers' Union - one of the largest? Will they be for Obama/Dems?

How about Gays and Lesbians? I'm not gay and I'm sickened at what Obama has done in NOT

overturning DADT!

Maybe tax payers watching ever more of their money going to the MIC and "faith-based"

religions?

21. I hope the bipartisan right wing psycho pundits and propagandist are seeing stars
(Keith: “without getting into the psychology…”) A soft disclaimer I guess, but thanks for allowing the pure unadulterated uncensored truth… as well as an eye opening, delusional rocking, hard hit from the educated well informed left, and right where it counts, to the chin of right wing “pathological sickness”. And to see Jeremy use the words “pathological sickness”, used in this context, on the M$M, to describe this war and its bipartisan supporters is a monumental testament to the decades of hard work and research by psychologist, and sociologist; for which, if not for that work, it would not be possible for a society to wake up from and understand the false reality of right wing “pathological sickness”. And let’s hope that MSNBC allows more of this type of discussion…
