Kate O'Sullivan tried to arrest Mr Blair after he signed his memoirs for her.

She told Sky News she was swiftly evicted, seconds after addressing the former prime minister.

"I went up to him and I said 'Mr Blair, I'm here to make a citizen's arrest for the war crimes that you've committed'," she said.

"Immediately five security people grabbed me, started dragging me off.

I cried out there was half a million people dead in Iraq, how can you live with yourself, you've committed war crimes."

Looks like she could be picking up the pot of £12,446.08 offered here: http://www.arrestblair.org/

1. Americans need to start: arrestbush.org
Americans need to do the same for Bush, Cheney and their cabal.

2. Looks like the chickens are coming home to roost
I hope this continues, and also gets some steam out here with Bush/Cheney. They all need to be prosecuted.

3. I feel bad for Blair because it was more misplaced trust, he went to Kosvo with Clinton what could..

possibly go wrong with a new President I think that's the way it was from his perspective. Just as much as Democrats in Congress get hauled on for the ride. I think he is a good guy suffering the aftermath of Bush. He'd of been very successful PM had their paths not met and Brown got some of the blowback too, who was even a more good guy.

4. I don't feel bad for Blair in the slightest, in fact the exact opposite

And I totally agree with John Pilger on this. Blair knew exactly what he was doing: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=385x497835

6. Blair knew exactly what he was doing.
I watched him in interviews, much tougher in Britain than Bush was ever exposed to here, and no matter how much truth he was presented with, he twisted it and lied and did it knowingly. He did not care that his own people were overwhelmingly opposed to the war either.

I remember in the beginning hoping that Blair would not go along with Bush, thinking he was much smarter and more moral. But I was wrong.

None of them should ever be able to go out in public and try to profit from the crimes they committed against humanity. Since their governments will not apply the rule of law, it is up to citizens to stand up for it and to let the know we are not fooled by the lack of prosecution.

As that woman said, hundreds of thousands of lives were lost. How can they sleep at night? And how can they make it worse by trying to profit from it? The least they could do is hide somewhere so we are not constantly reminded of how they got away with some of the worst crimes committed by this country and their allies in the lifetimes of many of us.

7. i just got back from Shanghai World Expo. No Irish in the Ireland Pavilion.
I joked it because they were all deported for speaking out.

They offered me a chance to move there and teach English. HA! Fat Chance! I would follow in my Irish fore bearers footsteps, as I have here, and spoken out. I would be deported from that country in two shakes of a eunuchs hair tail.
