ON EDIT: did not enjoy the "you little faggot" bit at all. dude- if your parents actually treated you that way- deal with those issues on your own time. Edit that one line and you have one of the best political rants i've heard in months.

Aside from the one line, it's a good rant. But I think I know why I'm not out there holding a sign and chanting, and this is the reason: I did it for almost eight fucking years and it didn't change one damned thing. Not one. I was yelled at and spat upon and insulted and my children were insulted and it was worth it because we were playing our part. To no avail. Obama won because the alternative was McCain/Palin, and because Obama made a bunch of promises that we shouldn't have believed in the first place. I don't know why anybody would listen to the teabaggers unless it's the fact that the deck is crazily stacked against us in the first place. Call me a cynic.

Love the rant though. I can really feel it.
