1. Granted, Wasilla's a small town and so likely has no large gathering places
but I should hope that for a purely partisan political event, and one that charged everyone to be there, such as this being held at a public school that the school better have charged them whatever amount they would charge any other group for using the space.

Or free, if they offer the space for free for any events.

And come on - the woman who introduced Palin said something about "All the great thimgs she's doing for the state of Alaska". What the fuck is she doing for Alaska? She quit her job.

3. Maybe quitting was one of the great things she did for the state of Alaska?

5. "Hot Librarian" eventually morphs into simply "Librarian."
I'm of the belief that any current or past "hotness" immediately vanishes the minute she opens her mouth, but...inexplicably...the reverse seems to be true for our freepy pals over at RimJob.com.

8. The acoustics of a school gymnasium certainly don't help that nasal screech of hers, do they?

10. I bailed right after "Do ya LURRRRRVE ya freedoms?"
I couldn't handle it. Didn't even want to try.

19. I got slightly passed the "Do you loooove your freedom"
but couldn't get to the stop button fast enough, so I ended up hearing her extremely loud nasely voice yelling over the idiots. It's like fingernails on a blackboard to me. Just couldn't listen any further.

20. How did this woman ever become relevant to American politics?
She lost me after I watched her drag her kid ( who CLEARLY did not want to be there) up on stage and tell the audience "My kids come first".

Done

so much for 'walking the walk and talking the talk' being in alignment

say, which I'm sure isn't of much value.

11. Oh who is she kidding?
She doesn't even think people in big cities are 'real' Americans so she can spare me her phony sorrow about 9-11.

"We believe that the best of America is not all in Washington, D.C. We believe" -- here the audience interrupted Palin with applause and cheers -- "We believe that the best of America is in these small towns that we get to visit, and in these wonderful little pockets of what I call the real America, being here with all of you hard working very patriotic, um, very, um, pro-America areas of this great nation."

She continued: "This is where we find the kindness and the goodness and the courage of everyday Americans. Those who are running our factories and teaching our kids and growing our food and are fighting our wars for us. Those who are protecting us in uniform. Those who are protecting the virtues of freedom."
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/44/2008/10/palin-clarifies-her-pro-americ.html

That this low-life pos would turn 9-11 into a money-making event with her idiot friend Glen Beck is so offensive that it is off the freaking charts of indecency. She's right up there with Ann Coulter who also made money off the backs of the 9-11 victims and their families. They wrap themselves in the flag and wave their bibles like they are something special when they are nothing but greedy, lying con artists who would sell their souls to the devil himself if the price was right.

Who believes they are????

"We believe that the best of America is in these small towns that we get to visit," in those big empty welfare states, like Alaska, that those in big towns and populated states pay for!!!

30. That little girl looks so unhappy
I hope she explodes in public and let's mommy dearest have it on camera. Yelling and screaming and just letting go. I managed to pull through the whole 5:14 and I really couldn't make out much of what she was saying. Which usually is nothing anyway. Did anyone notice the 9/11 slide show in the back round? This whole thing with 9/11 and Sarah is very tacky.

31. According to a recent article in Vanity Fair
One of her kids (I'm guessing Willow) did let her have it on the campaign trail. She called her a fake and a phony and said this is not who you are. Mind, this happened ,apparently, in front of a news crew and we never heard a peepmust have been faux snooze
