1. Many people in the USA ....
don't realize that saving the car companies here in the USA is part of our domestic defense. If we were in a world wide war we'd need those car companies in order to have the engines that they could produce for jeeps, tanks, airplanes etc. and those companies can be converted to make the parts and machinery that we'd need.
Folks that have been bashing Obama for bailing out the car industry are just misinformed.
