1. Notice how often he implies that Cenk is stupid.
"I know this is difficult for you to understand."

"Most people don't know that..."

"Have you read my book? ... Maybe you should."

But Cenk certainly set him strait - whatever good it'll do.

4. He was an extremely pompous ass! How many times did he end a sentence with "okay"?

He only got one thing right, saying Cenk's name correctly.

I really admire Cenk's patience at times like these.

2. The columnist is a liar...
...and a smooth-talking, condescending one at that.

No regards for statistics, just anecdotes that he thinks are representative of the nation as a whole.

I'm glad it's Cenk talking to this A**HOLE and not me. I wouldn't have been so professional...

3. Debating a Conservative on Unions is like arguing with a rock. Why bother?
You'll just wind up with the same BS anti-union message they've been supporting in one mutation or another for decades.

7. This may be unpopular to say, but I'll say it anyway.
Even though I disagree completely with all his points and he used anecdotal evidence to counter empirical evidence - which bugs the shit out of me - he was what I would term as one of the last sane Republicans. Compare David Bego - at least here, because I'm not familiar with him - with Palin, any Beck follower, Sharron Angle or 95% of today's conservatives, and he shines like the sun in the desert.

9. Cenk was trying to point
out that de unionizing America has done nothing for wages or benefits. The guy actually argued against Cenk's assertion. Absurd.

We only need to ask one question. Now that unions comprise only 7% of our workforce why has outsourcing continued at a furious pace? This has truly been a race to the bottom. And the American worker, and their standard of living, have been the victims. This has been nothing short of a treasonous act on the part of these corporations.

I remember one of Bush Jr's top economic advisors arguing on TV that outsourcing helps everyone because the consumer can buy cheaper household goods. That would be a good clip to demonstrate the Republican attitude toward the American worker.

10. "Companies talk to employees"
The con slipped some coded language into the beginning of the interview regarding merely wanting to "talk" to workers. Let me tell you...I was part of an effort to get a Union into a company and this is what happened. Once there is a Union campaign and the possiblity of an election lomes, there is some period of time before the vote actually happens. In this time comapanies bring in "Union Avodiance" consultants. Basically people that know how to break or bend the rules. So the company severly cracked down on ANYONE even speaking about the union and told the employees what the Union would do.

From the start of the campaign they had MANDATORY meetings with all employees several times a week where the Union Avoidance people essentially lie and distort information...so all the average employee knows about the Union is what the COMPANY tells them. Of course what they told them was that jobs, would be lost, wages, and benefits would be lost...basically scared people. This happened about two-to-four hours a week for several weeks. This allowed the company to win the election by TWO votes. We believe they spent approximatly a Million dollars to prevent six-hundred of us for joining a union...so obviously their return on investment has to be much more than a million dollars.

It was a crime, and a shame that grown people that SHOULD have known better quoted the Union Avoidance line and never actually heard the Union's side of the debate.

The game is rigged people...if you can even get the oppurtunity to vote on having a union (no small achieveemnt in itself) the company holds ALL the cards and gets every advantage in excluding info from the union, but has all the backing of the federal government to lie, intimidate, and scare people.

Shame on us the US.
