Mitch McConnell has proven how heartless and cruel the Republican Party truly is. Earlier this week, he said that the wealthiest 1% of Americans are the ones who have suffered the most in this recession. This comes on the heels of the announcement that more Americans live in poverty today than ever in this country. Ed Schultz goes after the out of touch GOP in last night's "Fired Up" segment.

1. Ed hits the nail on the head.

The "soft sell" ain't workin.

By that, he means the constant appeasement of the republicans in the vain hope of getting a few moderates to vote with the President to show "bi-partisanship".

All that has done is 2 things.

It has caused the republicans to purge anyone from their ranks who even contemplates voting with the Dems on anything and embrace the racist Tea Party.

And the watered down "progressive" legislation that resulted from trying to get these repukes on board has completely disheartened the Progressive base. To the point that there are many here who routinely bash Obama and his team. This was not the "Change we can believe in" from the campaign.

not been spoken. Wake up you bilious Congressional Dems. Dem voters go to the polls in Nov. Might try educating your ignorant friends and neighbors also.
