My SO was 6 credits from his degree, and when he went back to see if he could arrange something (teaching or directing in exchange for the credits, or even taking two classes) his school told him he would have to take TWO YEARS of classes now, since so many of his credits weren't acceptable now. Huh? So that implies that all St. Joe's degrees from the eighties are now invalid? But unlike Christine, he never tells anyone he graduated there, just that he went there. Anyway, so much of college education is just a money-making and barrier-making scam.
