3. It means absolutely nothing at all |
If Californians vote for this prop and it passes. Federal law still supersedes anything a state may do in such matters. In this case, the Feds will jump in and intervene whenever possible. They still do in some cases with medical marijuana, though things have gotten much better under the Obama administration.

4. The main point is that this is the start that will keep on gaining.......... |
.............momentum throughout the US until finally there will be enough "rebel" states the US will have to at the very least "decriminalize".

5. Exactly! It's important Prop 19 passes even if it's simply to make a statement |
But it is important if it passes because it'll he impossible for the Feds to hold down all of California. They don't have enough people & the state police won't be able to do a damn thing if a person has marijuana on their person or in their car. The only thing the Feds would he able to do is put pressure on politicians to hinder it so much that the Prop won't have much effect.

6. Right. All it will take then is for a few more of the more liberal (sane)..... |
......states to pass similar laws and the Feds will either repeal the Marijuana law passed to outlaw in the 70's or just quit enforcing it, kinda like the way the don't enforce the (important) anti-trust laws.

7. It will deflect law enforcement from serious medical users to recreational users |
If pot is legal in CA, the Feds will not have the money to fight everyone, and they will have a difficult time with PR if they continue to go after cancer patients and the like. A Prop 19 win should result in the pressure being taken off of people who truly need pot for illness. That is a goal that will get my vote.
