5. I was fortunate enough to see him in person in 2006

When he came to my district to campaign for the Democratic candidate for Congress, Kirsten Gillibrand. She not only defeated the long-time Republican incumbent, but she's senator now! He was just amazing, a brilliant speaker with charisma to burn... :D

I remember when he was on Letterman shortly after the chaos and confusion of 9/11, when he explained the issues so simply and clearly that Letterman was practically speechless. The audience went nuts with applause. And Letterman said that he felt that Bill Clinton was still our president, which got the audience started again. Clinton still has it... :patriot:
