Personally, I don't think any of them are stupid anough to disbelieve evolution. They're pandering to the peanut gallery.

It's really scary. Let's hope none of them make it past the primaries.

1. I think they refuse to consider it.
That way they appear more honest when they say they don't believe it. Pressure from Baptist and Evangelical religions is quite effective at bending reality.

2. I think that Huckabee and Brownback are "true believers"
Couldn't watch the video - still on dinosaur dial-up - but I remember three candidates raised their hands.

Nevertheless -- Huckabee wouldn't pander given his personality and history-- this is a major chink in his "born again" armor for thinking Repugs (is there such a thing).

He is personable --- yet ultimately stupid.

He would be a very attractive candidate for the base -- unless they were to run away from their beliefs in hopes of a problematic winner such as Ghoulianin.

4. amazing
Yeah, I actually think that its really amazing that only three said that they reject it.
They can't stay mainstream and reject science at the same time.
Just shows the changing tide.

5. So they're either idiots or liars. No surprise there.
