1. y'know- i am sick and tired of Rachel Maddow always being so damned... correct.
especially as she's one of the only true journalists we have remaining on the airwaves.

i could not envision a world without her.

5. I agree w/romantico....
Don't post if you don't like...or at least let her finish and put your comments here where they belong.
She does the most concise reporting on the planet. DADT IS BULLSHIT AND IT NEEDS TO GO. I have known several men and women of former military status, and gay, that I wouldn't go to war WITHOUT!! They are totally badass, kickass, warring mofo's, and I know they wouldn't leave me behind the way the President and our Congress are leaving them behind right now. :wtf:

6. "Malarkey?" No, I think the technical term is "lying."
Republicans lie all the time, and this is just one example...

7. Republicans negotiating in good faith?
Did I wake up in a different universe today? Have the Democrats been watching the news the last couple of years?

9. "Advancing a far-left liberal agenda" in times of war?
Oh, you mean like de-segregating the military? Or how about allowing black soldiers to enlist in the first place? Both of those were done in times of war. Neither was very popular with the conservative establishment at the time.

10. To the person who posted the note on the video.
Rachel is right, and Obama is wrong on this one.

Don't Ask, Don't Tell is just as bad as "separate but equal" drinking fountains.

How dare Obama compromise on this. There is no reason to compromise. The American people do not want Don't Ask, Don't Tell. We want to treat everyone as equals.

Military regulations do not permit sexual activities that could be troubling to others in the military. That regulates all sexual activities -- of whatever nature.

So, let's trust the military to enforce sensible rules and leave gas and lesbians alone.
