The empress with no clothes.

Calvin Trillin needs to write a poem about the obtuse Angle.

39. If her son failed kindergarten she should take a good long
look at herself. Ridiculous. With a mother like that it is no wonder the kid had problems. Her very demeanor is offensive, she is cast in stone with a sickly grin.

Tea party nuts get coverage when they heckle Democrats. Does it get in the press when a tea party candidates is laughed at and ridiculed by an audience?

I hope this means, that in this sample, in Nevada there are far more wiser people, who show up at the ballot box and end her career very quickly.

24. Here in Nevada.....
you can check "none of the above" and Harry is counting on that.
The mayors in Reno and Sparks have endorsed Harry Reid, as well
as most casinos and hotels and the biggest backers are the unions.

Then he punched her.

Well, I remembered it a little wrong. It appears she kicked the woman the old man was with.

17. Nope.
The account is posted in http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=433x453885">LBN and appears to be backed up by these photos.

A Nevada Senate candidate forum ended in a scuffle, and this time, it wasn't just the candidates exchanging jabs.
Kelly Tanaki said an unidentified man pushed her over and punched her friend Thursday after the forum at Faith Lutheran Jr./Sr. High School.
The fight came after an impassioned event during which the crowd both heckled and cheered Republican Sharron Angle and Democrat Harry Reid.
The man was detained by school officials. The 27-year-old Tanaki said the fight occurred because she walked past the man, not because she supports Reid and he backs Angle.

If you look at the first photo, you can see Kelly and her friend walking past the man.

It looks like, at that point, she was shoved.

So she turns around and starts yelling at the man (as I'm sure we all would do). It looks like her friend joins in, too.

It then led to the punching.

And that's what caused the awkward situation.

All the people behind him are standing, clapping, and cheering, and he is just sitting there as nothing is happening. And then he decides to throw a haymaker? It doesn't make sense.

23. So we are now at a point where people can't respectfully watch a debate?
Why attend if you don't want to hear what the candidates have to say? I don't care who is on what side. This was a pitiful display of immaturity by those in the audience.

Sharon Angle should be shouted down and ridiculed where ever she goes for even THINKING she is worthy of the position of senator. That way EVERYONE will know she is a FUCKING CLOWN! Then she can crawl back under the rock she emerged from.

we have this thing called free speech and elected officials.

It means we are (supposed to be ) a civilized society and, yes, even Sharon Angle gets her say.

Edited on Sat Sep-25-10 01:29 AM by teknomanzer
a country whose constitution I swore to protect, and I would be using my free speech to let everyone know she is a FUCKING CLOWN. If someone says something stupid and my natural reaction is to LAUGH LOUD AND HARD that is my constitutional right.

And we are WAY the hell past civilized. We are living in the theater of the absurd. You need to wake up and acknowledge the stupidity before it sweeps you up and carries you along for a very heinous ride.

35. Comments like "we are way past civilized" .....
and such are what teabaggers are all about.
It's not what I am about and it's not what Democrats should be about.

Look, I'm completely familiar with the phenomenon of the Internet blowhard. They are in every forum imaginable. Meek people who make big bad noises on the internet. They probably have them on knitting forums claiming they'll stab out the eyes of anyone who doesn't use the correct yarn.

I get that.
I am just saying you look foolish when you talk that way and reasonable people wil tend to ignore you when you do. Just as I am going to to now with a couple of clicks.
