2. i have tried explaining this to people. they refuse to believe it.

i didn't have these numbers, but i have said.... we HAD tax cuts for the past eight years..... where are all these jobs you speak of that they created. we went over a cliff. i swear people have a short memory or ptsd or something. it's infuriating. but i am so glad to see the concrete numbers here. not that that will do any good when talking to these people. they aren't interested in facts. they are so scared by faux news and beck they refuse to listen to anything!

Businesses and wealthy individuals are sitting on about $1.8 trillion, NOT creating jobs with it, NOT expanding businesses with it, NOT creating economic activity with it. Give them more tax cuts? They'd just sit on a higher hill of cash.

Businesses hire people when CUSTOMERS have more money. And customers are working people, the middle class, you know, peasants.
