1. No Democrat would want to vote for him.
Just because he's running independent doesn't mean he's not a red conservative anymore.

3. That's why it's so surprising to see the support here for this
Republican. Make no mistake, he's a Republican, through and through.

4. Yeah it would be a pipe dream to think he'd caucus with the Dems.

6. That's what I've been saying for a long time. There IS a
Democratic candidate for that seat. Why we are not wholeheartedly supporting him I do not understand. He might lose, but supporting a Republican is just wrong, win or lose.

8. It seems
that D or R, they are all corporate owned. It is sad and scary but it is the only reason that makes sense to me. This is like the Lieberman endorsement. Money must be taken out of the political equation if Americans ever hope to have a real voice in their governance.

5. Meeks, of course, gets my vote but
I,and many others, are scared shitless that Rubio will win. Crist is the better of two evils -- but still evil. Meeks isn't getting enough attention. It's all Rubio/Crist here, and hopefully, they'll drain votes off each other.

7. We won't win every race. That's never going to happen.
Either Crist or Rubio will do essentially the same things, if elected: obstruct all Democratic measures. The effect will be identical, so we should be supporting the Democrat. Too many here are supporting Crist and deceiving themselves into thinking he'll somehow caucus with the Democrats. He absolutely will not. I guarantee it.

11. No surprise.
He gets a lot of support from rainmaker lawyers who swing easily from the public and private sector. That network has managed to conquer from within. It's not about political party. It's about staying relevant professionally, at great cost to the integrity of their own profession.

Oh. Did I forget to tell you that the trial lawyers are supporting Crist?

10. This is
One of those Michael Moore, Gore or Nader things, in a nutshell. You can vote for Meeks if you like, but it's entirely likely you'll elect Marco Rubio by doing so.

At times you may have to choose to vote for the evil of two lesser, or in this case, three of them.

I'd wait and check out the polls just before the election, Florida Voters, and if it looks like Rubio is in the lead, hold your breath and vote for Crist. At least he wasn't insane, and treated Obama in the proper fashion, isn't a birther idiot, and not a tea party guy. It took a lot of character for the guy to not become insane and join the mad-hatter, tea-party crowd.

9. just saw this
How could anyone even think Crist would caucus with the left? Problem is the vote is getting split between him and Meek..Rubio will get in. I hope independents will think long and hard before throwing their support for Crist.
