Senator Jim DeMint is threatening to put a hold on all Congressional legislation that has not been cleared and approved by his office. This man is drunk with power, and Ed Schultz tears him down in last night's Fired Up segment.

2. He got away with "planting" his opponent in the SC senate
race didn't he. I guess his cojones were jumping up and down with that kind of power and he tried for more.

If he thinks that shutting government down will help him in the election, he's certifiably nuts. Again, it's the Cons, with the same tired rhetoric, the same tactics that they have been using forever. The same failed rhetoric, tactics and policies that have failed us in the past, and they think it will work now. What a bunch of morons. (sorry if I insulted morons).

4. This strategy is so stupid, you would think that the Democrats thought of it.
So what do you think that the odds are that all of the other Republicans will jump aboard. I say it is pretty good. I would almost root for it, if not for the damage that it would cause. It is like taking the country hostage and I could not support that even if it meant keeping a few more seats. I would like to point out that this is really not a big deviation from what the Rethugs are currently doing. By my definition, fillibustering every piece of legislature is taking the country hostage.

5. I did not need the pep talk Ed.
Only the grim reaper could keep me from voting in November...but good job anyway.
