5. I am from Mesa AZ
and never did believe this story it was to convenient . This has been story challenged by some local paper week ago and has finally reach the main stream Media . The Governor a Republican who was appointed and signed the bill just to get elected has lied about phantom beheading as well as Senator McCain lying about Illegals causing wreck on the freeway out here to collect bogus insurance claims among other thing . Dont even get me started On sheriff Joe A who under investigation for civil right violation just to name one thing . The whole state is run by corrupt republicans .

6. powder burns on the deputy could indicate self-
inflicted wound. sheriff "sticks to his guns" & supports deputy, but launches new investigation. deputy has been darling of mccain (& brewer?) in campaign ads.

15. Deputy became hero after supposedly being
attacked and shot by illegal aliens drug trafficing in the desert. He claimed they were bringing in 'bails of marijuana' and over 30 shots were fired at him. He became a big hero and the 'attack' was used to justify the Az 'show me your papers' law.

Problem is they never found any of that marijuana, or any illegal drug-dealers and the wound he claimed he got in the attack, it is being said now, may have been self-inflicted.

The Sheriff is standing by him, but opening up the investigation again anyhow 'to prove he was telling the truth'.

That's about it so far.

7. Its Arizona. Like Texas, you'd have to live there to understand it.

9. Just say, "It's Arizona, Jake."
By now, that should be enough of an explanation for anyone who's been paying attention.

10. As a Chicago native who has lived in Arizona for 25 years,
I could say the same about Chicago.

And there's Kansas, and what's the matter with it.

Or New Jersey.

Or just about any place.

Paul Babeu, the sheriff of Pinal County, is a slime bucket. I live in Pinal County, and I'd love to see him hoist on his own petard. Keeping this story out there, and hoping it leads to investigations of other Babeu doings -- including his brother Shaun's campaign for Justice of the Peace -- may be the beginning.

his plant was the same. The sheriff of Tremble county in Ohio is the same. The sheriff of Thurston county Nebraska? The same. There was a town cop (Bertram) who shot his own car when solo he "surrounded" a grain silo and was disnerved enough when he came upon his car he shot it. Sometimes Andy was right, the bullet stays in the shirt pocket. Then there was the Takoma cop who practicing quick draws while on late night patrol, shot himself and claimed he had been jumped.
