4. Yeah, but for all the British tv I've watched, I still can not understand

Cockney accent at all... Not a single word....:shrug: I miss occasional words in some of the others, but at least I can get the gist. Amazing how many pronounced and distinct dialects there are in G. Britain, though I shouldn't be surprised given how many we have in the US.

The kid has quite a future as a con artist, if he so desires! Hopefully, he'll choose more artistic pursuits.

Seriously...I love many of the Brit shows, but my spouse and I frequently have to "go back" and listen two, sometimes three times to understand the dialogue.

I'm of Irish descent and have travelled and even lived in Ireland for a short time but when I watched "The Wind That Shakes The Barley"..We had to turn on the subtitle feature on our TV.

Impressive Indeed.. To be that young, he was good... But his mustashe was no good, he should wait a couple of year so he could grow a real mustashe...

I would love to hear he try an scandinavian accent, as sweden, denmark and norway have a somewhat different tone to it all than others (and it is not easy to stop the tone even if I try it)... I guess my accent is so clear, that I should never try to go for an english speaking when abroad;)

But all, in all. He was great..
