I was recently rear ended by a distracted driver. Thank god my family and I are ok. Our car is totaled. We take so much for granted when we get behind the wheel. People don't realize that driving wile distracted endangers many more people then just the driver. Cars can be replaced, people can not. The number one killer of children in the U.S. is auto accidents, and they happen in a split second. Please share this video. I realize it's graphic, but if it saves just one life, that will make it worth wile. When my now 1 year old baby turns 16, I will show her this video. Please share it with every one you love, and even those you hate, because every one is in danger.

1. A young girl texting crossed into my lane a few months ago

I had to make a quick choice. Take her out in a head on collision, or go off the road and maybe hit a tree. I steered into a ditch, luckily missing the trees, but with 4WD was able to drive out okay with little damage. I wanted to go in hot pursuit of the idiot, but the 2 way summer traffic on the Cape was too busy for me to turn around. I hope she soiled her underwear, and judging from the look of horror on her face when she saw me eyeball to eyeball, she may have.

These texting idiots scare me more than the drunk drivers nowadays. They should be cited and lose their license for a year or so, then maybe they will smarten up.
