David Gilmour and Roger Waters of Pink Floyd reunited for one night only in support of Palestinian refugee children.

1. Huh, cool that they reunited to help, but that particular song, seems wrong

for anything relating to children. A heroin ballad, really?

3. the context of the song in "The Wall" is of a mental patient being chemically supressed...

by physicians and NOT a "heroin" ballad.

So- in the context of the MSM and the masses view of the Palestinians it seems most appropriate to me.

4. Really? I didn't know that. Got a link? All I know is that upon listening

to "Comfortably Numb," it sure sounds like a heroin ballad, and my junkie brother explained to me that it strongly resembles a heroin addict's frame of mind, and what they are seeking from the heroin, ie to be comfortably numb.
