I believe that when we use the label "foreign corporations" we misdirect our anger at an "otherness" that doesn't really exist. We end up pitting nation against nation among the working class. Seems to me that will surely help to put a kibosh on any aspirations for a global labor movement, but achieves little to advance the concerns of the general public.
These are for the most part multinational corporations with no real national allegiance. I suppose it might work for stirring up shit and getting people to vote, but it misdirects the anger toward foreign general populations away from the multinationals who are exploiting working people around the globe.
