1. Wow, who did these two have to sleep with to get this gig? |
|
I missed a lot of what they were saying, either by not being able to hear them, their voices were garbled or I couldn't follow their train of thought, which seemed to be all over the place. This is not a program I would ever tune in to watch ever again.

2. Sounded fine to me. I doubt they were sleeping with anyone to "get the gig" |
|
People here lately phrase things in such interesting ways.
They brought up an interesting subject which people are starting to wonder about...a possibiity of brokered conventions in both parties.
Just a thought.
I had no trouble hearing it.

4. I don't know, maybe I'm used to "real" newscasters |
|
you know, those who have taken time to perfect their "on air" voice, so every one can understand them. It sounded like I came into the middle of a conversation between two people at a coffee shop. If I didn't know a little something about the DNC and Florida dust up, I wouldn't know what they were talking about. They gave absolutely no background of even what was going on. Did they have a point of view, yeah, the dems are doing their selves in. But, which dems, those in Florida or the DNC. Is this an opinion show or news? I can't tell.
I did go back and watched it again. This time I paid close attention and still wasn't sure of what they were saying. I'm guessing they think everyone who watches their show, is an insider and knows everything already. They didn't mention what brokering was, just that it happened during some old peoples generation, and they didn't mean to offend these old people.
Keep to the facts, keep it simple, learn to pronounce and don't talk over each other, otherwise those of us who have even a slight hearing problem, can't follow what you are saying. It takes a lot of concentration to follow a conversation when you have a hearing loss. Concentration that we can't give to the subject when we can't easily follow what is being said.

6. My main problem with their "discussion" was their narrow analysis of the issue. |
|
They failed to mention even once WHY the DNC is concerned with Florida's primary date, and how pushing the primaries further and further forward, even into 2007, will disadvantage the Democrats in that their candidates will be less tested -- and far too much of a gap may be created between the effective nomination and the general election.
