A trip down memory lane for anyone who emotionally survived the years of Republican-led government. At a time when many people seem to have forgotten who it was that drove the economy and the country into the slag heap, I offer a this refresher course (to music).

It brought tears to my eyes, just as several of Bob's can do. I highly recommend this 'parody.' Any true DU'er would be proud to hear this version many times over.

This is exactly what should be put out there in large amounts to remind lackadaisical voters that the repubthugs should not ever be given the opportunity to repeat what they have done in the recent past. He never even got to the Party of NO scenario. The Grandiose NO Party.

Look at it as a Demo, give it to a young singer/songwriter and if necessary use a different audio track instead of Dylans tune, unless our friend Bob smiles on the effort.
If you didn't like his singing or ranting as the case may be then watch it with the audio down and read the titles, he touches on just about everything the repugthugs have done in recent years. And they really, really want to gain control again..
We need more of this, not less. The election is literally just around the corner. The repubthug nonprofits are spending literally 10 times more on this midterm than the Democratic party. And even with that knowledge, good loyal voters will stay away allowing the party of NO to gain some seats. And the teabaggers, don't frickin' get me started.
In reality the UNITED States Of America is a collective. The meaning of United and the term "We, The People" has a completely different meaning to a teabagger than to a loyal, patriotic American. They are primarily racist and selfish. Get that? RACIST! Pure and simple.
Wake up people!!!

We're in the mess we're in, BECAUSE Bush/Cheney and the
REPUBLICANS

This should be EVERY Progresses song, and the verse should be
sung
whenever we have marches.

Our singer did a TERRIFIC job, especially NEARLY TOOK OUR
COUNTRY DOWN

Progressives should chant that verse, whenever there's a
political rally.
The voters SHOULD NOT FORGET WHO HAS PUT US IN A
RECESSION/DEPRESSION.
