President Obama is going after the US Chamber of Commerce for using foreign money to influence campaigns in America. This has prompted the right wing to accuse the president of being anti-business. But as Mike Papantonio points out on CNBC's The Call, the Chamber is the one who is anti-business.

1. Yeah, I watched this and felt the bile rise in my throat.
It's always nothing but spin and lies anyway, but right before an election things get so damned ugly it is hard to turn on any commentaries.

The right wing is simply anti-people, period.

3. All that needs to be said to these morons is this:
We've heard for the last 50 years from Republicans and think tanks like the Heritage Foundation and interest groups like the US Chamber of Commerce that tax cuts create jobs and raising taxes on the rich costs American jobs. We enacted the Bush tax cuts 10 years ago & now they're set to expire because that's the sunset period for a bill passed through reconciliation...you get 10 years to prove the premise you're promoting in the bill is correct. Your premise was that these tax cuts would create jobs. We gave you 10 years to prove it but, in that 10 years we've LOST millions of jobs.

Put more simply, If tax cuts create jobs, where are the jobs that the Bush tax cuts (which cost us trillions of dollars) created?

4. I hate that they always get away with saying that it's Obama's
...tax hike. It's from a bill that the repugnants rammed through with reconciliation. It's the sunset of the Bush tax cuts. It's the repugnants tax hike, passed over the objection of many democrats. The dems should be making ads naming the repugnants who voted for this tax hike, and the dems that voted against it. Let the repgunants spend some money defending that.

5. My question is: from 2003 till now, where are all the jobs that were
supposed to be created with the Bush tax cuts? We lost more jobs during the Bush tax cut period than jobs were created. Someone please answer this question!!!!! I can't believe America is this blind!

6. Obama is anti-big business; he should be.

Big business is anti-American.

The Bush tax cuts have been in place for ten years & we've lost jobs for each of those years and continue to do so.

7. Ugh! That weaselly little tool from the Heritage Foundation...
He was just dyin' to have that nervous-yet-still-weaselly smile -the sign that he had successfully recited another memorized talking point- smacked right off his face and into next week!
