Couldn't agree more. It's time to eliminate party IDs. Problem is that I'm not sure how you do it.

5. I disagree completely.
Party affiliation is necessarily. At very least it gives a baseline of the candidate's beliefs and political leanings. Without this, it would be impossible to make an intelligent choice.

You can not government effectively by voting for individuals. There has a logical grouping to ensure that agendas can be met. The only viable solution is party affiliation.
