I was slowly trying to get myself out of bed this morning as I had the local news here in Albuquerque on in the background. All morning it was non-stop political attack ads mostly against democrats. Then this commercial break came on and I was so disgusted it got me out of bed right then and there. I grabbed my crappy camera to record this, sorry about the quality.

In this entire 3:46 commercial break there was one ford commercial and aside from that non stop attack ads against democrats, mostly Martin Heinrich. It got so bad that the last few commercials were the same 3 commercials just looping back and forth.

I know it's hard to stomach watching this, but I uploaded it to show the obvious point. There were a number of different organizations behind these ads, many of them don't have to discolse any of their funding. You would think the american people would see right through bullshit like this. But as it stands we dont have a chance with this crap going on.

2. I haven't watched any local stations for a few weeks
because of the filth pouring out during commercial breaks. This is what the Roberts court has given us, nonstop attacks against not only candidates, but democracy, itself.

Funny, I was getting bored with satellite because I'd seen all the good stuff and there was little new hitting any of the channels and I'd been considering dropping it.

Political season here in NM has convinced me to keep it.

4. I only watch Alb. TV for the news,
--well, weather-- at noon, and then the mute button is always very close at hand. To me the US election season is like watching a grade-school recess, and the NM election cycle is like pre-school.

7. Most effective protest: Cancel your cable subscription.
Hook your internet up to your TV and watch the programming you want directly from your TV.

That way you can avoid paying a single cent to, let's say, Fox News.

As long as you subscribe to cable or dish or any other such service, you pay for all stations including Fox.

Vote with your dollars.

3. The only good thing to come out of this political season....
...is that regardless of what happens, New Mexico will get its first female Governor.
