Best response yet! Sure hope this makes it to MSM before final election day voting.
Maybe others can post this elsewhere on the net to help it go viral.

1. I don't like it.
It is too destructive.

2. Do you live in California? I do, and I'm fine with it.

6. But you want to play nice? Maybe progressives will win if they ignore the destruction
of human beings by conservatives and just run a lot of ads with rainbows and people of different ethnicity holding hands and singing we are the world.

I'm not being hyperbolic when I say that conservative policies are killing thousands of people in this country daily. For example, before Roe vs Wade thousands of women in this country died in illegal abortions very year. They want to overturn Roe vs Wade and make abortion illegal. 45 thousand people die in this country every year because they do not have access to decent health care. Conservatives like that arrangement.

7. Why do we have to sink to that level?
The best ads of the season - Jerry Brown's "Echo" (and "Twins") and Barbara Boxer's "Workers". Relevant, hard-hitting and game-changers.

There is a difference between being hard-hitting and being destructive.

9. Look. We're losing the fight for the world. Losing it to evil, destructive
forces that want to turn the world into a giant oligarchy. And we have been losing for nearly thirty years. And apparently we've been losing it largely because every time they kill one of ours our response is to call them meanies and look hurt. Actually, we don't even do that because it's not nice talk. As a consequence they control the world.

I don't know why people are so stupid and gullible, but they apparently are. When the conservatives go on television and say, "The democrats got us into these wars," and, "the democrats want to kill your grandmother," and, "the democrats caused the Wall Street crash in 2007," and, "Obama is a communist Marxist socialist who wants to wreak the economy so he can become dictator and health care reform is part of that," and "the Founding Fathers were fundamentalist Christians who envisioned a theocracy," apparently a whole lot of people believe it. And the conservatives have all of the money and own the media. So they get to repeat these lies over and over and over to millions of people and no one challenges them.

In order to fight back we've gotta' use every thing in the arsenal. We've gotta hammer away, again and again, that the republicans are evil people. They don't care about anyone but themselves. They aren't patriots - they've sold America for 20 pieces of gold. Their children never have to die in the wars they start and claim are necessary. They hate Black people, Latinos and Asians. They hate Catholics. They are directly responsible for most of the bad things that have happened in this country in the last thirty years including wreaking the economy and murdering and torturing hundreds of thousands of people, both here and abroad. They don't want your children to get a good education or to get medical care if they get sick. They think of regular people as their slaves.

This is hyperbolic, but most of it is literally true. We've gotta' say it on television, on the radio, in cafes, on street corners, and especially in churches. Over and over and over, until some semblance of reality and history begins to creep into the national consciousness.

11. I understand that.
But the smashing is stronger than the message.

The ad has nothing about wars and lies.

3. California for sale
California is not for sale. It has already been sold. Secret investors (the ultra-wealthy and their corporate puppets) are funding the tea party and republican candidates in all the close races. They ALREADY rule the house and the senate. They just want to move their control to their own, dependable republican candidates again. 2008 threw a wrench into their funding-to-control machine but they are spending to buy back America. Democrats aren't spineless as so many people say. Many of these career politicians are heavily influenced by campaign contributors. Most americans just don't realize who is running the government. If we did, we would either crush politics with campaign reform, limit terms to one term or have a coupe and restructure our government to take back power from the wealthy and the corporate. America is currently a government of the corporation, by the corporation and for the corporation.

5. That is the California spirit. We are not New York or Indiana.
We are really sick of Republican governors, and we understand that all the violence in that movie is a bit of a joke. After all, this is the home of Hollywood.
