1. Google pays 2.4% taxes on their profits.
We don't have to lower the taxes because corporations find a ton of loopholes to reduce their taxes anyway. These corporations should be paying taxes to pay for the protection they get from the U.S. military. They should be paying taxes for the highways and infrastructure that they use to market their goods.

2. Kelly shoots down a straw man.
She did not say anything about regulating businesses. She talked about encouraging new industries. Then he ranted against something that is not a reality.

If he wants to see regulation, he needs to go to Europe. They have far more regulation of business than we do. But they are doing better in terms of exports and jobs than we are.

He makes up a story about what liberals are for and then talks about how he is different from that story. That is what right-wingers do. The difference in what they were saying was mostly on an emotional level.

How the Republicans think they are going to balance the budget without raising taxes on the rich, I would like to know. They have not explained the details on that. And the devil is in the details on tax policy.

Tell me, they've had these loopholes for decades and are still leaving, so what's your point Mike ?

4. Companies can literally pay nothing in U.S. taxes and Kelly would still bitch they're overtaxed.

If they're using U.S. infrastructure and other taxpayer-supported entities to enable them to make money, they should pay their fair share of taxes. It's the price of operating in a civilized society.
