This is outrageous.

An NBC station in Texas actually asked their members “Do you think this country’s acceptance of homosexuality could lead to it’s downfall?”

obviously has a thing for small children. You can tell by the way he does his hair. It's a kind of pedophile code. The radio ranter is a butt boy for hairy guys with lots of tattoos. That's certain because he's a wimpy looking geek who must be into SM. The news woman spends her weekends doing Mr. Goodbar when she's not making adult films with her "porno family". You can tell that by her hot, slutty voice.

Canada has had GLBT people serving openly in the military since 1993 and has had same sex marriage on the books since 2003. And Canada has totally not been destroyed. The same could be said of all the other countries that have full civil rights for gays.

Is it and American exceptionalism thing? They don't think things that happen

Or would they just refuse to admit that Canada (and Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, etc.) are not destroyed?

Or do they not even know that there are fully functioning countries that "accept homosexuality"?

There are LGBT people everywhere, there are right-wingers everywhere and there are bigots everywhere. Yeah, maybe if the survey had been done in San Francisco, the calls would have been more pro-gay and if it had been done in Bakersfield or Talladega, the calls would have been more anti-gay, but overall, I think they would have gotten a similar sampling of opinions no matter where they did the survey.

I have lived in 3 of the major GLBT friendly, and Democrat leaning cities of El Paso, Austin, and my current city of Dallas.

This NBC station is in EAST Texas, which means OIL, which means H8 filled newscasts like this.

Its probably a good thing 1 in 10 teenagers have the same sex partner. Because finally we are starting to have accept 'gays" and teenagers arent as scared to admit who they are.
